Our Five Favorite Summer Trends

It seems like we’ve been waiting our entire lives for the weather to warm up, but it’s FINALLY here! Time to pull out our favorite summer pieces and pick up a few new ones to update our wardrobe for the new season! And with long Memorial Day weekend just around the corner, we’re sharing our list of top summer trends to help you pull together your perfect summer look for the many weekend getaways or staycations to come!

If you could wear what feels like pajama pants all day and night, wouldn’t you? We LOVE them for summer because they’re comfy, roomy, and breezy and can take you from the office, to drinks with friends on the weekdays and from brunch to strolling around town on the weekends.

Espadrille Flats

From high to low, espadrilles have always been a summertime favorite and we’re so excited to add these to the list as a must-have for the season. Espadrille flats are inexpensive, comfortable and cool—a much more stylish take on their more classic cousin “the loafer.”

Floral Prints

Spring has sprung and with it brings beautiful blossom prints on tops, blazers, pants, skirts and the beloved sundresses! Throw on a floral blouse with your favorite pair of cutoff shorts for a feminine, casual look.

Crop Tops

Yes, some may think the crop top is a bit risqué. If you don’t feel daring enough to show your midriff, here’s another way to wear it. Layer one over your favorite maxi dress. It’s a perfect compromise that allows you to pull together two summer pieces into one fabulous look!

Chambray Button Downs

Time to roll up those sleeves! The chambray button down shirt will be your go-to garment for summer. It’s extremely versatile (as many of us have learned from past seasons). You can layer it over your tank or crop top, tuck it into a printed skirt or pant and even dress it up with a statement necklace, Bermuda shorts and heels. It’s hard to imagine that chambray will ever go away.

So which trend are you looking forward to most to rock all summer long?
